There are certain life lessons that only experience can teach you. It’s what makes us better at things, more prepared and more interesting people to be around. As children, we have to learn lessons by falling off, making mistakes, and coping with a few bruises. But as we get older the lessons aren’t as easy or as simple as learning how to ride a bike or not to touch a hot pan. I wanted to share a few lessons that I’ve had to learn the hard way, and yet have made the biggest difference in my life. We could probably all admit that we spend a little too much time on our phones. Whether we’re falling behind in classes, or finding that sitting down with our phone at the end of the night is our new ‘relaxing’, a lot of us seem to fall into a nasty routine with these wonderful devices. Considering how much you all give to your children, your partner and the rest of your family or community. It’s the lack of time though, that seems to push self care out of our schedules. There simply doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day to fit it all in. And unfortunately, a relaxing bath just cannot seem to take priority over feeding your child!
