Welcome to Live Lively!
It’s so exciting to finally launch this brand, which falls so close to our heart. Here, we desire to provide a welcoming and empowering platform for all. Based around our key principles and visions of wellness, mindfulness and an awareness of our future self, at Live Lively we desire to encourage you to grow and learn in everything that you do. We’re just here to give you some tips and tools along the way. What can you expect from us? Healthy recipes, inspiring blog posts, powerful mindset articles and an insight into how we’re putting this all into action. We are a family based brand, with a common goal to share - from our family, to yours.
Live Lively began as a collection of ideas 5 years ago when I was just 13. With a dominating passion for organisation in my own personal life, I began designing and creating my own planners, printable and organisation systems. I spent hours collating, hand making and refining my designs. I was striving to find the most efficient and versatile system which I could easily alter according to my needs, priorities and mood. Bringing these planners with me everywhere, I began to notice that other people my age really loved what I had produced, I immediately knew it was something I needed to share.

As life got in the way, my priorities led me in a different direction. However, during these 4 years, I began to gain a deeper understanding that having an efficient organisation system just was only hitting the tip of the iceberg. I needed to dig deep and begin to understand that the key to living a healthy, productive, and fulfilling life is found internally in my mindset, purpose, values and standards. No longer did I just want to create the ‘Lively Planner’ I wanted to design the ‘Lively Life’. This is what has lead me to where we are now. Yes, the ‘Lively Planner’ is still a dream, a work in progress and hopefully a future launch but right now we’re here to gain a deeper understanding of the important fundamentals that lie underneath.
Let’s take a look at these 3 key principles so you can really understand what Live Lively is all about:
  1. An Awareness of our Future Self: all the daily planners, routines and to-do lists in the world can’t help us if we don’t grasp this one principle. How many times during a day do we make split second decisions relying on the fact that our ‘Future Self’ will be able to handle it? This falls into everything, from procrastinating from studying for that exam, missing your yearly dentist appointment and the unhealthy food choices we’d love to forget. Instead, let’s take the weight off our future self’s shoulders and make conscious decisions today which improve our situation tomorrow.
  2. Mindfulness Mindset: this is all about having an awareness, understanding an appreciation for what we’re allowing into our lives, our foods and our minds. It’s hard to deny that we truly are a product of our environment, so let’s take control of our environment and ensure that we are mindful of what allow to impact us. This spans from taking control over the influence other people have in our lives, as well as the daily decisions we make regarding what we let in ourselves.
  3. Personal Growth: ultimately, as individuals we wear a lot of ‘hats’. From being a daughter, a father, a single mum, a student - the list could go on. Somehow, it seems like we’re supposed to take all of these roles, amongst our own personal responsibilities of self, and throw them together with our dreams, passions and desires to miraculously design a life for ourself where we make it all work. Here at Lively, we don’t just want to ‘make it work’, we desire to inspire, encourage and empower you to take control over all these things that are on your plate and manage them in a way that doesn’t just ‘work’ but which allows you to thrive. This requires a lot of personal growth and development, through a process of identifying what’s really important to you and how to fit it all in. We work through this throughout our blog posts and printables to really personalise this journey. Together we can learn how to ’Live a life that’s Lively’.

The most exciting part, is that we’re here to learn and much as we are here to share. It’s really important to us that Live Lively is a community of collaboration. Physically located in the wonderfully vibrant town of Cambridge, Waikato, we have seen first hand the positive impact that’s made when people work together and bring their ideas to life. So let’s catch up over our socials and get to know each other. You’ll find us both on Instagram (@livelivelynz) and Facebook (Live Lively) but also feel free to contact either Morag or I personally. You’ll find our details on the contact page of our website.

Thank you so much for your excitement, interest and support in turning our ideas into a platform we are so excited to share. We really hope you enjoy all that we have planned for you, there is only more excitement to come.
